Domplines (Puerto Rican Fried bread) with stew beans

        Domplines is a Puerto Rican fried bread. It is my family's favorite.  My grandson is the pickiest eater I have ever seen, but he loves domplines. He runs to the dinner table when he sees me with his plate full of the fried bread and stewed beans. It is one of the ways we get some protein in him. He is not a fan of meat. Here in the photo, he studies the product first before he eat it. 😊 dessertsandgoodfood.blogspot.com Ingredients: 3 cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 egg lightly beaten 1/4 cup canola oil 1/2 cup cool water Oil for frying     In a large bowl mix the flour, salt and baking soda. In a small bowl mix the 1/4 cup of canola oil, the egg and the water and pour in the center of the flour.    Mix with a spatula until the flour is wet .
