Chicken Tenders with Chardonnay Honey Mustard Sauce
This is one of those recipes I have made for my family for years and I am just now sitting down to write it. When you have picky eaters you have to do whatever you can to feed them. A few years ago my daughter Stephanie started making honey mustard sauce every time I made chicken tenders. For a long time I didn't even pay attention to the sauce. I ate my tenders with ketchup and, I was happy with that. A few months ago I tasted the sauce for the first time and to my surprise I really liked it. I have to confess I have never been a fan of mustard. I asked my daughter for the recipe and she told me the recipe came from when she was working in the military. They made the sauce to taste taking yellow mustard and then adding honey until the right consistency and flavor was achieved.
